The International Health Care Center (IHCC) was founded in Accra, Ghana in 1998. Initially as a hospice center dedicated to the lives of terminally ill persons. Today, IHCC functions as a community clinic open to the general public for all kinds of medical treatment but with a focus on infectious diseases. It provides people with access to outstanding services where infectious diseases, as well as general and chronic medical conditions, are managed.
At IHCC, patients and their families come first and so clients are always treated with warmth and compassion. We aim at being the top choice of the general population as well as partners for the provision of excellent health care services due to our skilled and passionate staff and our conducive and serene environment.
Due to our dedicated partnership with the West Africa AIDS Foundation, WAAF, our center also serves marginalized and vulnerable people who many a time have constraints in accommodating the cost of care. In order to sustain our commitment to reach out to the needy and vulnerable, IHCC fundraises and accepts in kind donations to finance this aspect of our work.
