The International Health Care Center (IHCC) was founded in Accra, Ghana in 1998. It was Initially set up as a hospice dedicated to making the rest of the lives of terminally ill persons comfortable before they pass on. Today, IHCC functions as a fully-fledged community clinic open to the general public for all
kinds of medical treatments with a focus on infectious diseases. It provides outstanding services where infectious diseases, as well as general and chronic medical conditions, are concerned.
At IHCC, patients and their families come first. Clients are always treated with warmth and compassion. We aim at being the top choice of the general population as well as providers of excellent health care services, thanks to our skilled and passionate staff and our conducive and serene environment.
Due to our dedicated partnership with the West Africa AIDS Foundation (WAAF), our center also serves marginalized and vulnerable people who may have constraints in paying for the cost of care.
To sustain our commitment to reach out to the needy and vulnerable, IHCC fundraises and accepts donations to finance this aspect of our work. Thinking of supporting IHCC, please click the “what you can do” section of our website.
